
Sometimes you need soulful piano vibes to cap off your night. Stylish pianist Tess Henley did just that yesterday (Jan. 21) evening, stopping by Jimmy Kimmel Live! for her first national television performance.
Henley performed a pair of songs from her forthcoming Feb. 10 Wonderland EP, opening with “Positively Me,” an upbeat R&B jam, complete with some gospel flourishes:
Next up, she dimmed the lights and slowed things down with the delicate love song “Wonderland.” And how about that backing band?
The Wonderland EP was crafted with Grammy-winning producer Don Was (Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan). Henley has North American tour dates scheduled through April and hits Anaheim, Cali. tonight (Jan. 22).
