Taylor Swift was spotted leaving a Los Angeles recording studio on Sunday (March 3), leading to breathless speculation that the singer is beginning work on the follow-up to 2017’s Reputation.
The singer, 29, who recently penned an essay for Elle about the things that move us musically, has not commented on any new music or confirmed any new session for what would be her seventh album, but posted an Instagram last week that got fans very excited. A pic of her cat Olivia Benson featured the caption, “She just read all the theories.”
Swift was then photographed leaving a studio in Beverly Hills on March 3, dressed in jeans, a Gucci fannypack and a robin’s egg blue Zadig&Voltaire sweater with white lightning bolts and hearts on it while rocking a pair of AirPods. A spokesperson for Swift could not be reached for comment on the picture.
Swift, who teased her “next chapter” during at last year’s American Music Awards, wrapped her Reputation tour in late 2018 after setting a record for the highest-grossing U.S. tour since Billboard Boxscore began tracking touring data in 1990.
