
When Taylor Swift invited some of her biggest fans into her own homes for private listening parties of her new album 1989 the Swifties just about died. Like, dead. Or so their social media postings and blowguns after the fact would have you think.
“It’s border-line confusing over whether they had a good time or not,” joked talk show host Graham Norton with guest Swift on his BBC America The Graham Norton Show Friday.

Along with guests actor John Cleese and cricketer Kevin Pietersen, Swift and Norton reviewed some if the most dramatic reactions chronicling the once-in-a-lifetime episode, most of which involved metaphorically dying.
Swift told Norton how she selected her guests, saying, “I found them on the Internet.”
“Tinder?” quipped Pietersen.
“I would go online and I would look at their Instagram pages, or their Twitter or their Tumblr or whatever and I just kind of watched them for months and months,” Swift said.
