Even by Taylor Swift‘s impossibly high standards, she’s having a pretty great week.
Fresh off Swift’s VMA performance of her new single “Shake It Off” on Sunday night, Billboard announced earlier today that “Shake It Off” debuted in first place on the Billboard Hot 100, beating out Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda.” The news prompted Swift to tweet: “I can’t thank radio and you all enough for the Hot 100 #1! But I can give you this video of Shake It Off outtakes.”

Cue a behind-the-scenes video of Swift in a cheerleader costume, running through the already infamous/delightful “rapping” section of her pop hit. “One thing I learned in this process is you can get everything you want in life without ever feeling like you fit in,” Swift shares in the video. “Selling millions of records doesn’t make me feel cool. It makes me feel proud, and that I have a ton of people on my side, and I worked really hard, but I don’t think it’s the most important thing in life to fit in. I think it’s the most important thing in life to…look like you’re having more fun than the people who look cool.”
Clearly, this is Swift’s awards show mantra. Watch the charming clip below — and stay tuned. Swift promises more videos are coming.
