Taylor Swift is the talk of towns across the world after the release of her sixth studio album Reputation on Friday, Nov. 10. Now that the album is here, Swifties are gearing up for all the exciting T-Swift things to come.
Leading up to the album’s release, Swift quickly returned to her throne as queen of making intricate visual masterpieces with “Look What You Made Me Do” and “…Ready For It?” In “Look What You Made Me Do,” multiple Swifts are seen from videos past: nerdy Swift from “You Belong With Me,” zombie Swift from “Out of the Woods,” and crazy-eyed “Blank Space” Taylor. The elaborate visual for “…Ready For It?” features Swift leaning into the sci-fi genre, in which she becomes a cyborg and comes face to face with her clone.
Swift also unveiled lyric videos for “Gorgeous” and “Call It What You Want” ahead of Reputation‘s release, which makes them obvious candidates to receive intricate visuals next. Another possibility is “New Year’s Day,” which Swift has performed at promotional album events and, most notably, sang on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Monday night (Nov. 13) as an emotional tribute to Jimmy Fallon’s late mother, Gloria, who passed away on Nov. 4.
Although there hasn’t been much promotion surrounding Swift’s all-star collaboration with Ed Sheeran and Future, “End Game,” that would certainly make for an exciting visual as well. Lots of options here, but which iteration of Reputation Taylor should we see next? Vote below.
