Fresh off of her landmark second Grammy win for Album of the Year, Taylor Swift got the finger — and it wasn’t from particularly dedicated Kendrick Lamar fans.
Swift nabbed yet another award from NME as the Best International Solo Artist of the year. Shaped like a hand flipping the bird, Swift responded to the “aggressive” statue the same way she has come to master any potentially negative feedback — with class and a laugh.

“When you first open up the box, it feels a little aggressive. And then you get used to it, you put it on the shelf. You know what? I kind of like it,” Swift said in her acceptance speech video (she was unable to attend the ceremony). “First impressions were a little weird here, but now I understand that this is actually like a strange compliment. You’re like being cheeky about it.”
