Taylor Swift‘s new Fearless (Taylor’s Version) album has topped this week’s new music poll.
Music fans voted in a poll published Friday (April 9) on Billboard, choosing 31-year-old pop superstar’s latest album as their favorite new music release of the past week.
Fearless (Taylor’s Version) brought in nearly 70% of vote, beating out new music by Doja Cat featuring SZA (“Kiss Me More”), Twenty One Pilots (“Shy Away”), J Balvin and Khalid (“Otra Noche Sin Ti”), and others.
Swift’s latest album includes re-recordings of the original Fearless songs, along with six never-before-released “From the Vault” songs, including collaborations with Keith Urban and Maren Morris.
Swift announced her intention to re-record her first six albums — released between 2006 and 2017 by Big Machine Label Group — in 2019, following the acquisition of her master recordings by Scooter Braun.
Fearless was Swift’s first album to top the Billboard 200 chart, spending 11 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1. The album also earned Swift her first Grammy Awards, including album of the year. She later won the same award with 2014’s 1989, and recently took home her third album of the year trophy with Folklore.
Placing second on the past week’s tally with nearly 20% of the vote was Doja Cat and SZA’s “Kiss Me More.” The PDA-packed collaboration will appear on Doja’s upcoming third album, Planet Her, which is scheduled for release in the summer.
