If you have any access to WiFi at all, you know by now that Taylor Swift released her surprise album, folklore, last week. However, one megafan had no idea–because she was out in nature on a camping trip.
Back on July 17, the Swiftie named Delphine shared to her Twitter followers that she would be without her phone for two weeks, but “if taylor decides to do something big please yell at me in my dm’s and don’t unfollow me for inactivity.”

One week later, Swift dropped her eighth studio album and the fandom began to blow up Delphine’s socials with the news (but she wasn’t too shocked, because her parents sent her a letter with the update). “so i see i went viral while i didn’t have my phone,” she wrote when she got WiFi access on July 30. “i can’t believe miss swift really dropped a wholea– album anyway i’m gonna listen to it now.”
That’s not all. Swift herself saw that Delphine was late to the folklore party, and gave her fan an update on the state of affairs. “Welcome back from your trip! We are all somber woodland fairies now. Feel free to grab a wicker basket and join us,” the star replied.
