Forget t-shirts and baseball hats, 2019 is the year of Miley Cyrus-branded condoms, Tyler, the Creator yard signs, DJ Khaled nutritional supplements and custom Dog Blood collectible figures.
Any artist can slap their name and face on some apparel, but it takes a very special one to offer their fans a branded “stash” box, a coffin-shaped pool floatie or a bejeweled bobblehead of their beloved dog.
Below, we give you a sampling of some of this year’s most outrageous, delightful and just plain weird merch from some of your favorite artists.
Miley Cyrus condoms
Yes, Cyrus has a range of provocative shirts and sweatshirts to promote her She is Coming EP, but perhaps nothing says Smiler 4 Life like her She is Coming Condom & Digital Download pack ($20). The black wrapped condom with the album title and 1-833-SHE-IS-MC toll-free number on it is available in her store.

Dog Blood custom action figures
The side project from Skrillex and Boys Noize is offering up one of the years’ most unique merch offers, tweeting out an offer to fans on Monday (June 3) to have their sketches turned into a Dog Blood collectible figure. “Have an idea for a figure inspired by the two members of #dogblood?” they asked in a solicitation. “Submit your idea to the Dog Blood Collectible Figure Contest!” The winning design will be selected by Skrillex and Boys Noize.
SEND US DRAWINGS OF ME and @boysnoize AND WE’LL MAKE COLLECTABLE TOYS OF THEM————– https://t.co/vYDpW3jw5x

BTS Dolls
Is there anything BTS hasn’t thought of? You can fully expect the upcoming doll collection from Mattel ($19.99) based on the South Korean septet to fly out of stores when they drop in September.

Tyler, the Creator yard signs
Sure, the Odd Future OG will sell you some yellow and pink sweatshirts to promote his Igor album, but you better believe his $40 Vote Igor pack includes not just a t-shirt, pin, sticker, an ddigital download, but also a 24″ x 18″ Vote Igor lawn sign.

DJ Khaled Turn Up and Awake Energy Shots
The key to Khaled’s success is innovation and his merch shop is no exception. Sure, you can get a Dad Hat ($50) and Bless Up Board Shorts ($52) in the Khaled online store. But did you know you could also get a Father of Asahd-branded Awake Energy Shot ($19.46) that will give you the “boost of energy you demand and count on?” Maybe the ($66.46) Isotonix Essentials Turn Up is more your speed? That one promises to keep your sharp and focused as well as increase your energy, help improve mental focus, promote cognitive health and provide strong antioxidant protection.

2 Chainz Trappy Dog Bobblehead
Sure, you could buy a copy of 2 Chainz’s Rap or Go to the League album. But if you got to his merch store you can also snatch up gym towels, Ethika underwear, mini basketball, cereal boxes with mystery gifts and, for the truly hardcore, a bobblehead of the rapper’s beloved dog, Trappy ($25).

Curren$y basketball and rolling tray
If socks, satin jackets and hoodies are too basic, what about a leather red JLA basketball ($75) or a metal raw rolling tray ($30) or jumbo rolling tray ($50) for all your rolling needs?
Rico Nasty Stash Box
Now that you have your rolling tray, of course you need somewhere to stash your consumable in this custom stash box with automatic rolling tray ($30) and Rico Nasty logo across the front.
Post Malone Coffin Float
In celebration of his zombie-themed “Goodbyes” video, Posty offered fans a $75 custom “Goodbyes” Coffin Pool Float, which comes with a download of his as-yet-untitled upcoming third studio album.
Taylor Swift’s Lover straws
Swift is always active with her fans on social media, so why not complete a Lover-themed insta post by using one of the album straws as a prop? The $13 pink plastic straw has the album name written in script.
