The 22-year-old singer is clearly ready to try something new for her latest single, “Good For You.” The grown-up, sultry slow jam, featuring A$AP Rocky, finds Gomez crooning, “They say I’ve got a touch, so good, so good, make you never want to leave, so don’t. Wear that dress you like, skin tight, do my hair up, real nice.”
“Good For You” is the lead single on Gomez’s forthcoming album, which follows Stars Dance as well as the compilation album For You. Buzz for the track sent it to No. 1 on the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 when Gomez revealed the cover art last week; the track returned to the top today after the audio dropped.
“Good For You,” which was available on iTunes starting at midnight, has already got one vocal fan: Pal Taylor Swift called it, “my favorite thing she’s ever done.” Agree?
