Santigold is back with her first new album since 2012’s Master of My Make-Believe. It’s called 99¢ and it’s out Jan. 22 on Atlantic.
The first sampling is a jubilant pop song called “Can’t Get Enough of Myself,” which Santi White premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show yesterday (Nov. 4). Check it out below:
“Everything is a product at this point — including people and relationships,” White told Lowe. “Everything is about marketing products… Everything is undervalued… so I thought 99¢ was a good price for me, my life, and all my hard work.”
The art for 99¢ follows Santigold’s theme. Check it out below, and if you’re into it, check out the singer’s new website, which is features her face on top of a Pez machine, along with many other zany Santigold novelties.
Earlier this year, Santigold shared “Radio,” s song from the Paper Towns soundtrack and her first new tune since 2012.
