Sam Smith has broken his three month silence on social media to address Sunday’s massacre at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub.
“My heart is broken. Let people be people, let’s love together. The world is with you Orlando,” Smith wrote across his social channels.
Forty-nine people were shot and killed on Sunday just after 2 a.m. with 53 more injured at the popular gay nightclub.
Smith hadn’t posted to social media since March 1, following his win for the Best Original Song Academy Award and the backlash that followed when he claimed to be the first openly gay man to win an Oscar.
