Sublime British vocalist Sam Smith chatted live with Billboard and guests June 18 at 7pm ET.The day after Sam Smith both drops his highly anticipated debut album “In the Lonely Hour” and makes his Apollo Theater debut, the suave Brit singer-songwriter will join Billboard at Google’s studios for a live Hangout On Air, chatting with Billboard and invited guests about his new album, upcoming plans, and more.
Fans can watch the Hangout live on this page and can submit questions for Sam to potentially answer live during the Hangout using the Google+ Hangout Q&A app. To submit a question, simply log in to Google+, go to our Sam Smith Hangout On Air Event Page, and click the video at the top. Sam Smith Opens Up About Love & Sexuality
The Google+ Hangout comes at a time ripe with exciting activity for Smith. Ahead of his album release and Apollo show, just this week Smith vaulted to his first top 10 with ‘Stay With Me,’ as the ballad (a former U.K. No. 1) hits No. 10 on the Hot 100. This fall, he’ll be touring North America from Sept. 15 in Boston through Oct. 10 at Austin City Limits in Texas, making his way up and down both coasts in the process.
