James Corden will tick a huge name off his wish list for “Carpool Karaoke” on Wednesday (Nov. 1) when Sam Smith gets in the passenger seat. The Late Late Show host teased the ride-along last week and Smith confirmed his first ride with Corden on Monday (Oct. 30) when he posted a photo on Facebook in which he’s smiling at the show’s host as they lean on a black SUV.
“Carpool Karaoke!! This Wednesday on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Had an AMAZING time filming this, can’t wait for you to watch.”
Not for nothing, Smith was included on Billboard‘s “‘Carpool Karaoke’ Wish List” in August, alongside Adam Lambert, Christina Aguilera, Vin Diesel, Fifth Harmony, former Pres. Barack Obama, the Hemsworth Brothers, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift. Smith is promoting his upcoming sophomore album, The Thrill of it All, due out on Nov. 3.
