Rita Ora’s sophomore album should get a worldwide release this November.
The British pop singer shared the news with fans overnight at her performance at New York’s Irving Plaza, say sources at the sold-out show, where she was joined on stage with Miguel.
The Roc Nation artist recently updated Billboard on her forthcoming album, which is the follow-up to 2012’s Ora.
“I’m very proud of where I’m at in the moment,” said the artist, who collaborated with Chris Brown on the new track “Body On Me” and has worked with the likes of Major Lazer and songwriters Felix Snow, the Monsters and Julia Michaels ahead of album No. 2. “I recorded it all in London because I wanted to keep my roots from where I grew up and I sat down and [had] a brainstorm to make sure my message comes across.”
The 24-year-old X Factor U.K. judge shared the album tracks “Poison” in May and I “Will Never Let You Down” last year. Next up is a show Wednesday night at U Street Music Hall in Washington, D.C.
