Andre Allen Anjos, the acclaimed dance-pop producer/remixer better known as RAC, is releasing an EP of remixes of his latest single, “Cheap Sunglasses” featuring Matthew Koma, later this month. The Cheap Sunglasses Remixes EP will feature new takes on RAC’s track by Le Youth, The Knocks, ShadowLuxx and Amtrac — the latter of which you can hear below, exclusively on Billboard.com:
The Portugal-born producer has dropped “Cheap Sunglasses” as a follow-up to his debut album, Strangers, released through Cherrytree Records and featuring Alex Ebert, Penguin Prison, Kele and MNDR, among others. RAC’s new single has been given a vibrant facelift by veteran producer Amtrac, and Anjos says that he is thrilled with the outcome.

“Amtrac has been a mainstay in our DJ sets for years, and I’m super happy to finally have him remix one of my own songs,” says Anjos. “He took it to a totally different place and I couldn’t be happier.”
The remixes EP is due out on Sept. 16, and on Oct. 22, RAC kicks off a fall headlining tour in Boston. The Knocks and Penguin Prison will serve as support on the North American trek, which runs through Nov. 15.
