As many now know, pop superstar P!nk forgot the lyrics to “Who Knows” second verse during a performance at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday (April 4.)
While she played it off like a rock star, it was plain to see the singer was a little embarrassed. However, we’re here to remind you (and hopefully P!nk if she reads this) that pop stars experience these minor mishaps all the time. Below we’ve compiled a list of stars who have forgotten the lyrics on stage, so every remembers that P!nk is not alone.
1. Justin Bieber
Let us not forget the time Biebs tired (and failed) to recover from forgetting the Spanish lyrics he performed for his part of the “Despacito” remix. While he tried to reconcile the mistake by being funny in the moment, the episode made fans pretty uncomfortable.
2. Demi Lovato
Demi nearly gave us all a “heart attack” when she forgot the lyrics to her hit song on Good Morning America. Luckily, she laughed the whole thing off and recovered gracefully.
3. Ariana Grande
Not once, but TWICE did Ariana forget the lyrics to her single “Right There.” “I just spent 20 hours shooting a music video to this song yesterday, how do I not know the words?” she wonders aloud. It’s okay Ariana, we forgive you.
4. Adele
Even royalty make mistakes. When Adele forgot the lyrics to her Hot 100-topper “Rolling In The Deep” during a show in London, she playfully cursed and started over. Luckily, Adele can truly do no wrong.
5. JAY-Z
King Hov forgot the lyrics to his verse on Drake‘s “Pound Cake.” His unprecedented swagger made up for it.
6. Beyonce
Hov’s wife had a similar mishap during a performance of the intro to her “Get Me Bodied” on the Mrs. Carter Tour. Did anyone care? Absolutely not.
7. Mariah Carey
Let us not forget the infamous New Year’s Rockin’ Eve performance of 2016. As many know, Carey forgetting her lyrics was the least of her troubles that night.
8. Sia
When Sia forgot the words during a performance of the pop/rock standard “I Go to Sleep,” she was quick to start over and play it off cool.
9. Shawn Mendes
Mendes did the classy thing and handed responsibilities off to the audience when he forgot the lyrics to his breakthrough hit “Life of the Party.”
10. One Direction

Coming out to perform an encore at a 2009 show, Cudi may have gotten a little ahead of himself, freestyling when he couldn’t remember the words to his “Alive.” “I forgot my own words! I really smoke a lot of weed!” the rapper offered by way of explanation.
