The Plain White T’s are gearing up for the release of their seventh studio full-length American Nights on March 31 with a brand new video, “Pause,” premiering on Billboard today. The upbeat single, which is all about taking time to “pause” and make the most of every moment, is reflected in the summery, festive video. A derailed road trip (in the RV from Breaking Bad!) turns into a roadside concert, and then an all-out desert party that lives out the spirit of “pushing pause.”

The video, produced in affiliation with Lipton Tea’s “Be More Tea” campaign, also features a cameo from American Pie‘s Thomas Ian Nicholas, who is a friend of the band.
Plain White T’s Leader Wants To ‘Go All-In’ on Next Album
“Our new album, American Nights, really focuses on being present and concentrating on what’s happening now instead of what might happen tomorrow,” says lead singer Tom Higgenson. “This song, ‘Pause,’ is our lead single and it serves as a reminder to be present and appreciate all of life’s experiences.”
