On Monday afternoon (Jan. 29), pop superstar P!nk dropped the music video for “Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken” after performing the song live at the 60th annual Grammy Awards the night before.
Filmed entirely in black-and-white, the video finds the stunning songstress looking into the camera in nothing but a see-through white tank top and oversize ripped-up jeans, not dissimilar from her casual Grammys getup. Pink’s adorable little girl Willow makes appearances throughout the video, held up and nestled in her mother’s arms while she sings the song and lets her vocals take center stage.
From her latest release Beautiful Trama, “Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken” was originally written for the 2015 film Suffragette, and while the song did not end up on the film’s soundtrack, P!nk explained the inspiration behind the song in her Apple Music documentary On the Record. “The movie is about the suffragette movement, which is women’s right to vote,” she said. “You have to fight for what’s rightly yours which is rights and respect and love and kindness and compassion and you have to be willing to die for it. These women were.”
