Foster The People dropped their latest single, “Pick U Up” on Friday (Sept. 6).
On the bouncy new track, lead singer Mark Foster plays coy with a flirty new love interest, bragging about his “talent for discretion” and knack for “mak[ing] a good impression” in the game of love.
“Hey there, did you call me?/ Are you lonely?/ Should I pick you up?” he asks on the eager chorus, leading a chanting singalong. “Hey there got some money?/ Do you love me?/ You just tryin’ me on?”
“Pick U Up” is the indie pop outfit’s newest release following singles “Imagination,” “Style,” “Worst Nites” and “Sit Next To Me” — the latter of which was just certified double platinum.
