Pharrell Williams’ second studio album, “G I R L,” is getting a proper solo tour — in Europe, for now, at least. The “Happy” star has announced an overseas trek that kicks off on Sept. 9 in Manchester, per Capital FM.
The Europe dates mark the first extended run for Williams since the release of “G I R L,” which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart in March. The follow-up to 2006’s “In My Mind” spawned Williams’ inescapable hit “Happy,” which topped the Hot 100 chart for 10 weeks.
