The film — which just released its new trailer — is based on Brad Land’s true story Goat: A Memoir. Flashes of brutal treatment to the pledges during the rushing process reveal the common secrets among fraternities.

Jonas plays Brett Land, the older brother of Brad Land (Ben Schnetzer). Schnetzer’s character is tested in strength, loyalty and dignity while rushing for the fraternity that older brother Brett is part of. The two not only test their integrity within themselves, but their loyalty to each other as family.
