The men of One Direction might have splintered off into solo careers, but that doesn’t mean they won’t collaborate in the future. At least, that’s what Niall Horan said during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada.
When asked if he would collaborate with his former bandmates on songs for his anticipated fall 2017 album, Horan said, “You can’t rule anything out really, can you?”
“I suppose right now it would be a bit weird,” he said, “but I never rule anything out, to be honest.”
While the boys of 1D might not be featured on each other’s solo endeavors anytime in the immediate future, Horan emphasized his willingness to collaborate with other artists for the album.
“Fingers crossed I can get to play some stuff to people and see what happens,” he said. “The whole idea of a collaboration, it’s great, because I don’t think there’s a lot of it going on in our world, anyway. Not as much as there should be.”
The “Slow Hands” singer said he expects to release his debut album sometime in October or November. “I want to do everything at my own pace and not rush everything out,” he said. “At the end of the day, I am 23, so I’ve got lots of time.”
