Noah and Miley Cyrus have released their live cover of Noah’s ballad “I Got So High That I Saw Jesus” on Monday morning (Oct. 26). “No one knows how excited we are to be releasing something together for the very first time,” Noah wrote. “thank u sissy for singing with me and as always making it sound effortlessly beautiful.”
While it’s hard to believe this is the first time the siblings have released something together, it’s about time because their voices beautifully compliment each other on the stripped-down piano and voice version of the tune from Noah’s EP The End of Everything. It’s been a very busy summer for the Cyrus sibs, with Noah performing “This Is Us” with Jimmy Allen at the CMT Music Awards, as well as releasing a cover of Mac Miller’s “Dunno” for charity and teaming up with Diplo for “On Mine.”
Miley’s been grinding away during the pandemic lockdown as well, chatting with Democratic vice presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris about the importance of voting in the Nov. 3 presidential election last week, announcing a new album, Plastic Hearts, releasing a moving cover of Pearl Jam’s “Just Breathe,” teasing a Metallica covers album and dropping her long-anticipated MTV Unplugged special.
