Miley Cyrus has always been a supporter of cutting-edge fashion. The “Malibu” singer took to Twitter on Tuesday (May 1) to thank all the Smilers who were part of her new Converse line, ConverseXMiley, and shared an array of colorful photos with them to mark the occasion. “Excited to meet my fans @ Nordstrom at the grove!!!” the singer wrote above a rosy-hued photo of her and a fan clad in all-pink everything. The singer pointed at her superfan’s rib tattoo of Cyrus’s Converse logo, pointing at it with mock surprise.
“Wanna thank my awesome fans who were a part of the campaign,” wrote Cyrus in a separate post, “and everyone who’s got a pair of my #ConverseXMiley collection!” The post includes a Snapchat video of Cyrus, selfie stick in hand, recording her and her fans rapping along to her 2013 Bangerz track “Do My Thang.”

The singer also made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! later that night to flash her new Converse kicks and discuss retracting her apology for her notorious barely-clothed 2008 Vanity Fair photo. “It was everyone else’s poisonous thoughts and minds that ended up turning this into something it wasn’t supposed to be,” Cyrus said of the photo. “So actually I shouldn’t be ashamed. They should be.”
