Miley Cyrus told fans that she will be teaming up once again with Mike Will Made-It for her next album on Monday (Dec. 10).
Cyrus, who is currently promoting her new single with Mark Ronson, “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart,” confirmed her upcoming work with Mike during an interview with 95.5 PLJ. In addition to Mike Will, Cyrus revealed that her next album will also be produced by Ronson and Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow.
“A song that [Ronson] and I have done together is more rock driven, modern Debbie Harry or Joan Jett,” Cyrus said of the new album. “Then we’ve got songs with Mike Will that lean more hip-hop and songs with Andrew Wyatt that lean more pop/alternative. I just have kind of everything.”
Although no release date for her album has been confirmed, during a recent appearance on Beats 1, Cyrus did say it might be out in June of next year.
Cyrus previously worked with the hip-hop producer on her 2013 album Bangerz, but they did not work together on her later albums Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz (2015) or Younger Now (2017).
