Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson stopped by the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform their new collaboration “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” along with a cover of Ariana Grande’s “No Tears Left to Cry” on Tuesday (Dec. 18)
Standing in front of a cracked heart-shaped disco ball, Cyrus’ vocals were on point as she crooned the emotional lyrics to “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart.” The song heated up as Ronson’s acoustic guitar, a bass, drums and keyboard joined Cyrus.
Cyrus next broke into an intimate, borderline orchestral version of Grande’s “No Tears Left to Cry.” Ronson continued to accompany Cyrus’ strong, warm voice on guitar.
Grande later praised Cyrus’ rendition of her Sweetener song. “I love that voice and soul sm,” she tweeted.
