Marc Jacobs has found his latest muse for his spring 2014 campaign — and it’s none other than Miley Cyrus.
The moody ad, which Nylon magazine first spotted, features the “Wrecking Ball” singer sitting on sand, wearing a navy jacket with black embellishment, maroon shorts and black sneakers with embroidered white flowers. Rather than striking her usual pose — sticking out her tongue — the pop star goes for less funny and more serious, with a wandering look into the distance.

The designer’s decision to feature the “Wrecking Ball” singer in the new ads doesn’t come as a huge surprise, considering their long-standing relationship. Cyrus has thanked Jacobs for bringing her into the forefront of fashion since she was 16; Jacobs helped her land a spot in “Time’s Top 10 Best Dressed” list in 2013 when she wore a glittery green gown designed by him to the Fashion Group International’s Night of the Stars.
The singer also showed her support for the designer, tweeting a photo of her wearing a Jacobs-designed tee Monday.
Cyrus joins a slew of stars who have posed for Jacobs, including Dakota Fanning, Victoria Beckham, Helena Bonham Carter and Sofia Coppola.
