Miley Cyrus’s “Bangerz” tour is soon coming to a TV set near you. The controversial pop star took to Facebook today to announce a new two-hour special on NBC that will air July 6 at 9 p.m. E.T.
She posted: “Smilers! NBC is bringing #BANGERZTour straight to your living room! Catch the 2 hour behind the scenes concert special on July 6 at 9pm/8pm CT!”
The special will follow Cyrus with behind the scenes footage and performance video from her upcoming shows in Spain and Portugal. Cyrus’ tour hasn’t been exactly living room appropriate — from riding a gigantic inflatable penis to a lot of leg sreading, rubbing and bending over — so it should be interesting to see whether the network asks the 21-year-old to tone it down or how it may edit segments together.
