The only thing that will go better with Halloween this year than a Steve Bannon grim reaper mask and scythe is the long-awaited Michael Jackson‘s Halloween special on CBS. The hour-long animated tribute to the late King of Pop will feature some of MJ’s most beloved music along with a voice cast including Christine Baranski, Alan Cumming, Jim Parsons, Brad Garrett, George Eads, Lucas Till and Lucy Liu.
A 30-second teaser promises plenty of Jackson-related Easter eggs for hardcore fans, including a soundtrack courtesy of Jackson’s 1979 Off the Wall hit “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough,” a glimpse of an animated pair of feet doing the singer’s signature dance moves and a giant moon with MJ eyes.
The show will follow millennials Vincent (MacGyver star Till) and Victoria (The Flash’s Kiersey Clemons), who meet “accidentally” on Halloween night and find themselves, along with Ichabod the dog, at a mysterious hotel located at 777 Jackson Street called This Place Hotel. Once inside, Vincent and Victoria go an unexpected, magical adventure of personal discovery, culminating in a spectacular dance finale featuring an animated Jackson. Check out the preview below.
