Although they don’t seem to share the same capitalization preferences, it’s different, Forever M.C., MAX and blackbear definitely see eye to eye on their new collaboration, “No Hands.” In fact, former Nickelodeon star Max Schneider (who goes by MAX as a musician) tells Billboard that being a part of the track was a “no brainer and a pleasure.”
“Prior to this past year, I had spent a lot of time in my life saying yes to people rather than sticking to my guns. This record is about not only being proud of my past — first time I’ve referenced my Nickelodeon days in a song — while also being confident in not following trends and staying true to my vision,” MAX explains of the song. “Being proud of the bizarre weirdos we are and not conforming to the BS. Off the rails with no hands and no stopping now.”
Along with helping MAX create something he’s passionate about, it’s different and Forever M.C. also highlighted blackbear’s genre-bending ways in the four-way collaboration, fusing hard-hittting electronic electric guitar drops with reflective lyrics.
