Mason Ramsey dropped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday (Nov. 27) to discuss how his life has changed in the past year and to give a special performance of “White Christmas.”
Ramsey, who recently turned 12 years old, returned to Ellen for the first time since April, after he went viral for yodeling Hank Williams’ “Lovesick Blues” in the aisles of Walmart. The rising singer has since released his Famous EP, is the youngest artist featured on Billboard‘s 2018 21 Under 21 list, and embarked on his first nationwide tour alongside Chris Lane.
Besides his impressive career milestones, DeGeneres also brought up one milestone Ramsey might not be ready for quite yet. DeGeneres asked Ramsey about the numerous marriage proposals he has received from fans, but the singer revealed his heart truly belongs to his celebrity crush, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, whom he has met over “a couple of FaceTimes.”
Following his interview, Ramsey took to the stage to perform his jazzy rendition of “White Christmas.” Clad in a bedazzled white suit and oversize cowboy hat, Ramsey crooned the holiday classic alongside a four-piece band. “’White Christmas’ is the best holiday song and I’ve grown up listening to Michael Bublé’s version with Shania Twain,” Ramsey said in a release. “It’s also a song in Home Alone too — my favorite movie to watch at Christmas!”
Ramsey will head to Las Vegas with Florida Georgia Line at the beginning of December and will continue his holiday run with a performance of “White Christmas” on NBC’s Today show on Dec. 13.
