Oh-oh-oh-orange! Marina unveiled the video for her new track “Orange Trees” on Friday (March 22) and it positively radiates with summer sunshine.
Shot on location in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the feel-good clip was directed by Sophie Muller and features the “Handmade Heaven” songstress dancing on the beach with friends and exploring stunning vistas while serving an array of citrus-hued looks that match the song’s title.
“I wrote “Orange Trees” about the island that my family and I are from in Greece,” Marina revealed in the video’s description on YouTube. “It’s called Lefkada and it’s my favourite place in the world… I always feel at peace there. It’s like my body/biology recognises I’m back home. Hope this song makes your summer sweeter than ever.”
Produced by Oscar Gorres of pop powerhouse Wolf Cousins, “Orange Trees” follows similarly nature-themed lead single “Handmade Heaven” and “Superstar” off Marina’s forthcoming double album, LOVE + FEAR, which is set to be released April 26 via Neon Gold/Atlantic Records.
