Is James Corden trying to break the Jonas Brothers up again? On night two of the JoBros’ week-long takeover of The Late Late Show, the host put Nick, Joe and Kevin through their paces in a grueling game of “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts,” in which they had to pick sides and show where their true loyalties live thanks to a new twist in the game: if one person digs in, they all dig in.
“I fear the band may break up again before it’s even started,” Corden joked as beetle marmalade toast came up first on the wheel and Kevin had to choose between buying a Nick Jonas or DNCE album. “Do you want us to stay together?” Kevin asked, realizing that he could answer, choosing DNCE. “We’re gonna talk later, Kev,” a peeved Nick said.
Then, their worst nightmare came up: bird saliva. And, it was down the hatch as Nick was asked to name the most famous person who’s hit on him, an instant opportunity to get back at Kevin with a swig of the thing he was most afraid of tasting. “And he said DNCE over my album, so in the spirit of brotherly love,” Nick said with a grin as the vile liquid went down the hatch.
Things didn’t get much better when it was Joe’s turn to rank a list of boy bands from best to worst or chug a three-chili smoothie, which there was no way he was touching. It was not great. “He’s burning up,” Nick quipped about Joe’s pepper freak out. There was cow’s blood and pork tongue jelly facing father of two Kevin when he had to choose which other Jonas would make the best dad and some good old bull’s penis staring at Nick when asked to rank his Jumanji 2 co-stars from best to worst.
Who would Joe rather go on vacation with? Nick or Kevin? Or would he rather eat a bowl of worm spaghetti?
Watch the brothers tuck into some foul treats below to find out the answer.
