With an electrifying performance of her latest synth-pop tune, “I Remember,” Betty Who commanded the stage with an exciting disco inferno on Wednesday night’s (Feb. 13) Late Late Show.
Who (born Jessica Anne Newham) immediately jumped into the 80s-themed song accompanied by a wicked keytar player, wasting no time getting into the intoxicating dance track. With the help of backup dancers, the Sydney-born musician grooved to the song with a modern twist on classic disco moves while wearing a mesh long sleeve over a hot-pink bralette and shiny black pants.
“I remember nobody loves me like you do/ I remember I don’t want perfect, I want you/ You know you’re the only one, how could I forget this love?/ I remember, no matter what, it’s me and you,” Who sang in the catchy chorus.
