In a new trailer for her upcoming Netflix documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two, Lady Gaga hangs with fans, takes a trip to Walmart to make sure her Joanne CDs are getting proper placement and gets ready for her instantly legend 2017 Super Bowl halftime performance. “I’m going to fight like fucking hell for them to fucking love this,” she says in firm prizefighter mode before popping out for the high-energy extravaganza.
The doc directed by Chris Moukarbel and produced by Heather Parry for Live Nation Productions, Bobby Campbell for Mermaid Films and Moukarbel is slated to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Friday (Sept. 8) and will hit Netflix on Sept. 22. In the teaser we also get some quieter, more intense glimpses of Gaga, including one where she gives Florence Welch a hug in the studio, gets a Joanne tattoo on her arm, makes a painful visit to the doctor’s office for a shoulder procedure and a somewhat silly bit where she fires up a joint and says “let’s get stoned in grandma’s car!”
The singer was forced to cancel a show in Montreal on Monday (Sept. 4) due to a respiratory infection and laryngitis.
