It’s cool to be kind. That’s the message from Lady Gaga‘s Born This Way Foundation, which is gearing up for its second 21 Days to Be Kind Challenge. “Help us make kindness – to ourselves and to our communities – a habit by practicing an act of kindness each day from September 1st to September 21st!” reads the pitch from the Foundation. “We’ll send you all the information you need to get started – including suggestions for how to be kind from our Co-Founder Lady Gaga + some of our amazing partners. Oh, and you’ll also be entered to win a pair of tickets to an upcoming Lady Gaga show!”
Little Monsters are encouraged to participate on their own, or assemble a “Kindness Team” made up of “friends, family, coworkers, classroom, book club, neighborhood, sports team,” or any other groups to join. Acts of kindness can be shared with the #BeKind21 tag @btwfoundation, which will enter you to win two tickets to an upcoming Gaga show and a Love Bravery merch basket.
Participants must be 15 years or older, sign in on the Born This Way site and share at least one experience on social media using the #BeKind21 hashtag; the winner will be randomly selected from pledges posted between Aug. 14 and Sept. 21.
