Laces is the new project from Jessie Poland, formerly known as Charlotte Sometimes on The Voice. “Love Me Sober” is produced by Dante Jones (Kelly Clarkson’s “Mr. Know It All).
“Writing this song just kind of happened,” Poland tells Billboard. “Dante and I were just slacking off and playing chords and talking life, aka I was complaining about a guy I was seeing. I remember saying f–k man… he screws me, he screws me up, and screws me over. From that moment we knew we had a song and it was written that day and we used the original raw vocals.”
