Last Friday (Sept. 16), Corey Feldman delivered a rather unique morning performance on the Today show. The performance was so odd it sparked a frenzy of commentary on social media, much of which has been overwhelmingly negative. While P!nk was among the first, and few, to speak out in support of Feldman, Kesha has now followed in her footsteps.

Following the backlash, Feldman posted a now-deleted Facebook Live video of himself describing how the hurtful comments made him feel. “We just wanted to tell everybody that it’s been really painful,” he said. “We can’t get out of bed right now. We’re petrified to even go out … And I’m sorry, but we just wanted the world to know we’re really freaked out over this and it’s really not fair.”

Yesterday (Sept. 19), Kesha showed her support for Feldman with an Instagram post. She posted a screenshot from a news article quoting Feldman’s Facebook Live video, and added her own lengthy caption in which she wrote that the news breaks her heart. “People can be so horrible and mean online and it can BREAK you,” she wrote. “Do you, f— everyone. those people have never performed on the today show. it’s easy to sit at a computer and talk s—.”

Previously, on Sept. 18, P!nk tweeted that Feldman is loved and should keep his head up, to which he replied, “I really appreciate that public endorsement.”
