Kelly Clarkson, hidden behind a blunt, blonde wig covering her eyes, dressed as Sia and treated fans to a surprise performance of “Chandelier” as Halloween weekend kicked off.
“I’m Sia this Halloween. What!” the singer said on a Facebook Live video she streamed Friday night (Oct. 28). “She’s one of my favorites, so I thought I’d wear a wig and be Sia.”
She then launched into an a cappella cover of “Chandelier” that she hoped would make Sia, who’s written for Clarkson in the past (song credits include “Invincible” and “Let Your Tears Fall”), proud. “There you go, Sia. I hope you liked it,” she said.
“I don’t know how she does this ‘cause, you know, you can’t see. But it’s also kinda awesome ‘cause you’re in your own little world when you’re performing,” Clarkson added.
