Kelly Clarkson dropped the animated video for her UglyDolls track “Broken & Beautiful” on Thursday morning (April 25) and it features a cameo from the singer’s favorite co-star: four year-old daughter River Rose. The colorful clips blends live action and animation, including exclusive animation of Clarkson’s lead UglyDolls character Moxy alongside an animated cameo from the song’s co-producer, Marshmello.
The clip for the empowering anthem mixes movie footage with new animation of Moxy roaming the big city and sneaking backstage, where Clarkson is singing the song while sitting in her dressing room and getting her pre-show makeup done by River Rose.
The UglyDolls soundtrack, which drops on Friday (April 26), features original songs from Janelle Monae, Nick Jonas, Bebe Rexha, Blake Shelton, Pentatonix, Anitta and Why Don’t We, among others. The film (out May 3), features an all-star cast of voice-overs from Clarkson, Jonas, Shelton, Wanda Sykes, Gabriel Iglesias, Pitbull, Monáe, Rexha, Charli XCX, Lizzo, Emma Roberts and many more.
