Katy Perry is having some of the typical pregnancy cravings, including that go-to pickles. But she also shared that her palate has gotten a spicy upgrade since she started cooking that bun in her oven.
“During this time there’s lots of cravings but lots of things to consider when going to the grocery store — but trust and believe I have stocked up on pickles,” Perry told producer/songwriter Benny Blanco during his recent livestream according to a release from DoorDash about their recent effort to encourage celebs to donate meals to Feeding America during the coronavirus pandemic.
“My number one craving is avocado toast with tabasco. I’ve never been into spicy foods in my life but light my mouth up right now!” she added.
The quotes came as part of DoorDash’s efforts this week to help provide meals for those impacted by food insecurity during the COVID-19 crisis. That included Diplo and Dillon Francis doing a Coronight Fever livestream last Friday and Benny Blanco and his friends live streaming a muckbang on Tuesday that resulted in DoorDash donating 850,000 meals to families in need.
Perry, Marshmello, Lil Dicky and David Dobrik joined Blanco’s livestream to support the campaign, watching the producer eat raw onion, spicy Korean noodles, a stack of matzah, spicy rigatoni and drink an oat milk milkshake, among other tasty snacks. DoorDash has also launched the #DoYourPart challenge, where users can donate to Feeding America and enter their email for a chance to win a gift card to help support local businesses that are #openfordelivery.
