If you got up early enough on Wednesday morning (Jan. 31) you might have seen a truly spectacular sight. No, not the GIF-alanche of weird moments during Pres. Trump’s first State of the Union speech just hours earlier, but the super-rare cosmic light show known as the Super Blue Blood Moon. For those of you who aren’t NASA nerds, that’s when the moon is closer to Earth in its orbit, 14 percent brighter than usual with a reddish appearance — plus it’s the second full moon of the month.
