Katy Perry might have been laying in a bed of “Daisies” for her virtual performance during Procter & Gamble and iHeartMedia’s “Can’t Cancel Pride: A COVID-19 Relief Benefit for the LGBTQ+ Community” last night (June 25), but some of her previous hits also sprung up.
Sporting a fresh rainbow manicure, Perry touched up her freshest single “Daisies” from her upcoming fifth album with a deep house edition that worked with her neon outfits to electrify the performance. But she rewound through and remixed a few old hits from her catalog for the ultimate Pride dance party, including “I Kissed A Girl,” “Peacock,” “Walking On Air” and “Swish Swish.”
“Lots of things are being cancelled (rightfully so, trust!) but you #CANTCANCELPRIDE and not only that but you can’t cancel dance remixes with some of ya fav songs okur,” she wrote on Instagram yesterday.
