Justin Timberlake is readying himself for his long-awaited Super Bowl Halftime show appearance, as well as his equally anticipated Man of the Woods album.
Yesterday (Jan. 22), Timberlake blessed Twitter with a behind-the-scenes clip, which showed the making of his latest single “Supplies.” The video for the song was a released on Jan. 18, and now fans can get a short glimpse into how the tune was created.
In a tweet that simply said, “Behind : Supplies @Pharrell,” JT uploaded the clip which featured him in the studio with producer of the song and longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams. We get to see the “Filthy” singer mess around with some auto-tune, and Tyler, The Creator even makes a short appearance.
Timberlake talks about his musical connection with Williams, saying, “The first person that I collaborated with on this project was Pharrell. Where he grew up in Virginia, and where I grew up in Tennessee, they’re very similar.”
JT’s Man of the Woods is set to be released on Feb. 2. Two days later, Timberlake will take the stage at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota for halftime of Super Bowl LII.
