It looks like the Man of the Woods is venturing out and making his way to London.
Early Monday morning (Jan. 30) Justin Timberlake took to Twitter to reveal that he will be joining the 2018 BRIT Awards as a performer among the likes of Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa and Rita Ora. Set to take place on Feb. 21 at London’s O2 Arena, Timberlake’s UK appearance will mark his first overseas performance following the release of his fourth solo album Man of the Woods on Feb. 2 and highly anticipated halftime performance at Super Bowl LII on Feb. 4.
BRITs Chairman & CEO and Chairman of Sony Music UK & Ireland Jason Iley shared “We are honoured to have an artist of Justin’s stature and relevance performing at this year’s BRIT Awards. He is one of the most exciting artists in the world with success spanning more than two decades and is adored by music fans across the globe. The BRITs has an enviable history of being one of the most important platforms for incredible stand out TV moments from the biggest global artists and I have no doubt that Justin’s performance will be one to remember.”
The performance will be Timberlake’s third time taking the Brit Awards stage, having previously performed in 2013 and 2003, and fans have already begun speculating that the pop icon will perform some of his new hits from his latest album next month.
