Since revealing his next album, Man of the Woods, is on its way next month, Justin Timberlake has not stopped with the teases. And with a brand-new song and video coming Friday, the latest teaser features our best look yet.
Timberlake posted a 10-second preview to his Instagram on Thursday (Jan. 4) from the video for “Filthy,” which also gave fans a sense of the song’s dynamic sound. “Hey, if you know what’s good,” Timberlake — dressed in a Steve Jobs-like getup of glasses and black turtleneck — sings as he throws up his arms to an applauding crowd. He then runs up a set of stairs and the video fades to the song’s name, as Timberlake sings “some say it’s fate” before the short-and-sweet video ends.
According to the Insta caption, Mark Romanek is the director behind the “Filthy” video. Romanek has a long list of A-list music videos under his belt, including Taylor Swift‘s “Shake It Off,” JAY-Z‘s “The Story of O.J.” and Timberlake’s own “Can’t Stop the Feeling!”
“Filthy” is the first single from Man Of The Woods (due Feb. 2), and will arrive promptly at 12 a.m. EST/9 p.m. PST tonight. Check out the clip below.
