From No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hits to sold-out international tours, Justin Bieber has a lot of impressive achievements on his resume. And as of Thursday morning (Aug. 31), the 23-year-old singer can add another accomplishment to the list: 100 million Twitter followers.
Bieber joins an elite club with this social media milestone, as the only other musician with 100 million Twitter followers is Katy Perry. The next most-followed musicians behind Bieber are Taylor Swift (85.5 million), Rihanna (76.9 mil) and Lady Gaga (69.5 mil), those numbers proving that Bieber’s 100 million is a pretty impressive feat.
If the number of followers doesn’t impress you, Twitter rounded up some other numbers that might make you a Belieber: The pop superstar has been mentioned more than 2 billion times on the social media outlet, the word Belieber has been tweeted 84 million times, and his most retweeted message has more than 638,000 retweets.
