How does undefeated boxing champ Floyd Mayweather prepare for a fight these days? By palling around with Justin Bieber and Lil Wayne just minutes before stepping into the ring, apparently.

Moments before squaring off against rival Marcos Maidana last night (May 3) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Mayweather was hanging out in his room snapping photos with Bieber and Lil Wayne. The pictures appeared on Bieber’s Twitter and Instagram just minutes before he and Lil Wayne escorted Mayweather to the ring. A day before the fight during his weigh-in, the boxer was seen with his other musical buddies, rappers Rick Ross and 2 Chainz.
Lil Wayne used Saturday night’s highly-publicized boxing match to perform his new song “Believe Me” while escorting Mayweather down the aisle during his circus-like entrance. The track, which features Drake, debuted Saturday morning and is the first single from Lil Wayne’s highly-anticipated new album, “Tha Carter V.” Just days ago, Mayweather posted an Instagram video of Lil Wayne and Drake recording together in the studio.

Grammy-nominated R&B singer-songwriter Tyrese also appeared at Saturday’s fight to sing the national anthem. “This is on behalf of a racist-free America,” the singer said, likely referencing the recent controversy with Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling.
Those following the fight on Twitter may have noticed blow-by-blow tweets from Eminem’s manager, Paul Rosenberg, who was in the audience. Not only did Rosenberg give multiple updates throughout the 12 rounds (for example, “R10: Mayweather works Maidana’s body with some rights. Very close round, ends with another tough right from Floyd”( but he was also name-checking songs playing over the loudspeaker.
“Awwwew man they are playin Cypress “How I Could Just Kill a Man” at the fight!!!,” Rosenberg tweeted before the fight. “They played Pun earlier too. The music between rounds has been stellar!”
