Joshua Bassett announced that he will release his new single “Only a Matter of Time” on Thursday. The 20-year-old High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star teased the song on his socials Wednesday with a 20-second clip of him looking out from a set of train tracks while an instrumental melody plays.
“Only a Matter of Time,” which will arrive at 6 p.m. ET on Thursday, follows his single “Lie Lie Lie” that he released earlier this month. The songs will be featured on his upcoming yet-untitled debut EP via Warner Records, which can be pre-ordered here.
His HSMTMTS co-stars Mark St. Cyr and Matt Cornett expressed their support for Bassett’s upcoming track in his Instagram comments section. Cornett called it “one of my favorites,” while St. Cyr said he was “digging the vibe for this one man. Visuals + Music are meshing really well.”
It’s only a matter of time until fans get to hear and see the whole thing.
